Well, never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine that two of my most beloved fandoms would intersect, but that's exactly what's happening with The Walking Dead and New Kids on the Block!
That's right! You read that correctly! 👀👀👀
Sonequa Martin-Green (AKA Sasha Williams on "The Walking Dead") is set to star alongside Donnie Wahlberg (AKA Donnie D. in the place to be!) on the new CBS show, "Boston Blue."
"Boston Blue" is a spinoff of the hit series, "Blue Bloods." So, somehow, Donnie's character, Danny Reagan, will find himself leaving NYC and taking up residence in Boston. 🗽➡️🍀
Per Variety, Sonequa "will play detective Lena Peters, the eldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family, who is partnered with Danny Reagan."
If you've followed this page for a while, then you know that I'm a fan of "The Walking Dead." And more specifically, I am a big fan of the dynamic duo of Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira, AKA Rick and Michonne Grimes! 💃💃💃
Well, what you might not have known is that when I was younger, I was a HUGE HUGE HUGE fan of New Kids on the Block!
I mean, I was CONVINCED that I'd be Mrs. Jordan Knight at this stage in my life! 😂😂😂
So, the fact that Donnie & "Sasha" are joining forces has me pretty stoked!
Honestly, I hadn't planned on watching "Boston Blue," but now that Sonequa will be prominently featured and directly involved with Donnie...

I'm hoping that their characters are (or will soon become!) romantically involved. That would be the SMART thing to do, as it would lock-in a dedicated fanbase!
Wouldn't it also be really sweet if we got a few guest starring spots from "The Walking Dead" cast members, as well as a few cameos from the New Kids? 😁😁😁
