Happy Monday, Coffee Talkies!
Last week, Hot Ones host Sean Evans was a guest on Keke Palmer's podcast, Baby, This is Keke Palmer...
And well...
Things got HOT...
And SPICY...
And most of all REALLY SWEET!
You'll recall that Keke has been a featured guest on Hot Ones several times, and it was obvious that she and Sean really enjoyed each other's energy;
HOWEVER...
That "energy" was kicked up 10,000 notches when Sean admitted that Keke was his favorite guest and that he had a crush on her.
The world heard his cry, and the public tried HARD to get Keke to answer in kind...
HOWEVER...
At the time, Keke was in a TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD RELATIONSHIP WITH A LOSER BUM WHO COULD OFFER HER NOTHING...
Except for making her a BABYMAMA!
But that was a few years ago...
And now that Keke is single...
And Sean is single...
It looks like maybe there might be a chance for these two yet...
At least, that's what the majority of social media is hoping for!

So, Sean was in the interviewee seat on Keke's show, and boy oh boy, it was indeed a treat to see them reunited once more.
Sean was grinning...
Keke was constantly grinning...
They were laughing...
They were sharing...
Her mother, Sharon, joined in on the fun, too...
It was just a lovely thing to witness.
And honestly, I think this is what so many young Black girls and Black women have a hard time dealing with...
BECAUSE THE CONNECTION WAS SO EASY AND NATURAL!!!

Black girls (AT A YOUNG AGE!!!) are TAUGHT that compliments from black boys DO NOT COME EASILY!!!
So, as a Black woman, you are then always BENDING OVER BACKWARDS & TWISTING YOURSELF INTO A PRETZEL for these black males...
Because you're trying to PROVE that you're WORTHY OF A COMPLIMENT!
Black males are STINGY with compliments...
And Black women are TAUGHT that such behavior is cute, attractive, desired...

So, when a white guy like Sean comes along, and is EASILY GIVING COMPLIMENTS...
On your CHARISMA!
On your HUMOR!
On your INTELLIGENCE!
ON YOUR BEAUTY!!!
You almost don't know *how* to take it because you've never experienced anything like that before...
And certainly NOT FROM BLACK MALES!
So, YOU simply believe that he's only being nice...
Not that he's SINCERELY, GENUINELY INTERESTED IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU!!!

You think that something has to be up because it's been your experience that boys and men (i.e. BLACK BOYS & BLACK MALES!!!) don't regularly offer any sort of praise to Black girls and women that they "claim" to be interested in...
UNLESS IT'S STRAIGHT UP SEXUAL!!!
And as I always say, Black women are so doggone insistent upon the idea that white men FETISHIZE Black women, when it's BEEN ABUNDANTLY CLEARLY FOR DECADES that these black males are the absolute BIGGEST FETISHIZERS OF BLACK WOMEN...
HANDS DOWN!!!
"I wanna see what that mouth do..."
"Look at that fat ass..."
"Hey, lil' mama! You look like you know what you doin'..."
"You look like you need me to do some backbreaking..."
"Yeah... that body look like it was made for ME!"
I mean, these black males DO NOT QUIT!!!
And YOU, as a Black girl, as a Black woman are supposed to be FLATTERED BY THE BASEMENT LEVEL, BOTTOM GUTTER FOOLISHNESS THAT THEY DEEM TOP TIER FLIRTATION TECHNIQUES!!!
As I've said, white boys don't do that!
And if you happen to cross paths with the ones that DO, then you should IMMEDIATELY RUN!!!
So, all of that to say...
Did you watch the interview with Keke and Sean?
Did you see how MUCH Keke genuinely GIGGLED & GRINNED throughout the episode?

Did you notice how much Sean PAID ATTENTION TO HER WITHOUT SEXUALIZING HER...
Yet he CLEARLY LET HER KNOW THAT HE WAS INTERESTED IN HER???!!!
It's just not that hard, y'all...
Men are capable of expressing their interest in you WITHOUT IMMEDIATELY SEXUALIZING YOU.
Men are capable of genuinely complimenting you WITHOUT YOU TURNING INTO A PRETZEL.
The thing is that TRASH MEN COME IN ALL RACES...
HOWEVER...
Black women limit themselves to actual opportunities with quality white men because you're so afraid already that it won't work.
You psych yourself out before you even give it a chance!
So, I'm hopeful that Keke actually chooses to explore something more with Sean this time around...
I'm hopeful that YOU will read this and choose to explore and expand your options with white men, too!
There's literally NO REASON why you should limit yourself, Sis...
No matter your age!
White men are interested in Black women. White men have always been interested in Black women.
Does that mean ALL WHITE MEN?!
NO!!!
But you don't need ALL WHITE MEN TO LIKE YOU...
You WANT the one man (who could very well be white!) to love, respect, honor, and cherish you in the way that YOU want to be loved!

But you MUST be open to the possibility and opportunity, first!
If he has any sense, then he won't "flirt" with you in the same manner in which you're accustomed to from black males...
Because white men (who are genuinely interested!) don't AGGRESSIVELY, OVERTLY FLIRT with Black women like black males do!!!
But if you pay attention...
You'll notice that he's ALWAYS GIVING YOU ATTENTION...
With compliments...
By remembering details about you...
By finding reasons to be around you...
By letting you know that he's thinking about you...
By noticing you...
Without YOU having to do anything else other than BE YOURSELF!
So, will this ultimately work out between Keke and Sean? Will they finally give their special connection a shot?
Who knows!
But I think it could perhaps work out for YOU!
Sometimes, Black women just need a little encouragement...
A little nudge to try SOMETHING NEW...
