If you're wondering how to spend your Saturday night, I've got a suggestion for you...
Why not relax, unwind, and take in one of Hallmark's "Fall Into Love" seasonal movies!
Falling Into Place airs tonight on the Hallmark Channel!
While it's not BWWM, it does feature Alvina August who was the lead in one of my favorite BWWM Hallmark movies, Deliver by Christmas.
Falling Into Place looks to be your traditional, swoonworthy Hallmark fare with actual Black people in leading roles -- which, unfortunately, is still very much a rarity on Hallmark.
But hopefully, this is a big step in the right direction!

Kaia (Alvina August) returns home for her town's fall festival as well as her high school reunion and spends the week with her childhood best friend, James (Nathan Witte), to complete their unfinished fall bucket list.

If you're a regular Hallmark viewer, you might've noticed that Stephanie Bennett is also part of the supporting cast.
That's worth mentioning because Stephanie has been the lead in several Hallmark movies, but in this movie, she'll play the best friend...
And that's noteworthy because the "sweet best friend who has no life of her own but wants nothing more than her bestie to find love" role is almost ALWAYS played by a Black woman!
So, it's great to see that roles will be REVERSED tonight!
And that reason alone is enough to watch!
